Mark Menge joined the office in July 2005 as a Legal Analyst supporting patent attorneys to secure and protect patents and inventors from various scientific disciplines, as well as preparing and filing legal documents, including patent agreements, information disclosure statements, amendments, petitions, inventorship changes, terminal disclaimers, declarations, and records assignments. Mr. Menge also enters dockets in adherence to U.S. Patent Office legal deadlines, creates and distributes weekly docket reports, and fulfills reporting obligations for the University of California and Department of Energy reporting. With Mr. Menge’s assistance, the office has completed nearly 50 U.S. patent applications annually, along with continuations, divisional applications, and engagement letters to government officials, agency representatives, associates, and inventors.
