
Nancy Ware joined the office in 1992 as Senior Principal Counsel and provides strategic guidance to management and project teams and extensive advice and review on California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and/or National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental impact assessments for numerous Laboratory development projects as well as the 2007 Long Range Development Plan. She also has advised on complex environmental, health, and safety issues under federal, state, and local laws and defended the Laboratory in response to investigations, NOVs, cost recovery actions, and complaints under such laws. Ms. Ware previously worked as a litigator at Landels, Ripley & Diamond law firm in San Francisco, where she handled commercial, environmental, employment, and personal injury defense litigation.
